CLASSES

Registration

Classes are held 1 hour per week for 8 weeks. NDTC offers 6 8-week sessions per year. Classes fill quickly. Please register early to take advantage of the early-bird discount.

Current students: Before registering for the next level, please discuss your plan with your instructor. Obtain his or her advice about whether to repeat the class or move on to the next level. Dogs learn at different paces and have different attention spans and energy levels. It is not unusual to repeat a class (sometimes more than once).

Your completed registration must include

  1. Signed registration form
  2. Proof of current rabies vaccination
  3. Registration fee, payable to NDTC

You may print the registration form and hand write your information or type on the form while it is in your browser, then print. You may save the typed pdf file to your computer for future use.

Submit Your Registration Form

Sign the form and mail or drop off with your check and supporting documents to NDTC.

The building is open only during scheduled classes or events.

During Class Hours: You may place your documents and check in the registrar's mailbox in the club office (NOT in the slot on the side of the desk).

After Hours: Please place your documents and check in the lockbox near the front door of the club.
DO NOT place items in the USPS mailbox.

NOTE: At this time, it is not possible to submit your typed data electronically. We hope to provide electronic submission in the future.

If you have questions, please contact the registrar.

Fees

Eight-week classes are $125 ($100 for early registration). Members with at least 10 volunteer hours in the previous 12 months get a 50% discount when registering early. Ask about our discount for shelter adoptees.

Drop-in classes are $10 per class, payable the night of the class.

Weather Cancellations

When Metro Nashville Davidson County School District closes schools due to bad weather, NDTC classes will be cancelled.
