BASIC OBEDIENCE

Attention

In order for you to successfully train a dog, it must be willing to give you its full attention. This class focuses exclusively on getting your dog to pay attention to you and on teaching correct heel position with attention. It is strongly recommended for all dogs destined for obedience competition and is also appropriate for re-teaching a competition dog to heel properly.

Angus, Labrador Retiever

Prerequisites: Dogs must be at least 4 months old and able to sit/stay on command and walk on a loose leash. Students who have never put an obedience title on a dog must first complete Level 1 & 2 and earn their CGC. Seasoned competitors may start their dog's formal training with this class. All NDTC classes require proof of current rabies vaccination for dogs age six months or older.
